A clean body is a healthy body. Dirt and germs can make us sick, so we must wash them away every day. We take a bath with soap and water every day. We wash our face when we wake up. We wash our hair with shampoo two or three times a week and comb it neatly.
Hands touch many things, so we wash them with soap before eating, after playing, and after using the toilet. Rub the soap on the front, the back, and between the fingers, then rinse. Cut your nails short, because dirt hides under long nails. Wear clean clothes and clean socks every day.
Example: Sing the happy birthday song two times while you wash your hands with soap. That is just the right amount of time to wash away the germs!
