I am special. I have a name, and I am a boy or a girl. I am four or five years old. I can say a whole sentence about myself: "My name is Mali. I am five years old. I like to draw."
I have likes and dislikes. I like some foods and some games. I do not like some things — and that is fine. My friends have their own likes too. We listen to each other and respect what others feel.
Example: Sit in a circle with friends. Each friend says, "My name is ___, I am ___ years old, and I like ___." Clap for everyone. Everyone is different and everyone is special!
