A routine is the set of things we do every day at about the same time. A good routine keeps us healthy, helps us get things done, and makes us feel calm. A good day starts early: wake up, brush your teeth, use the toilet, take a bath, wear clean clothes, and eat a healthy breakfast. Then go to school on time with your bag packed the night before.
After school, wash your hands and face, eat lunch, rest a little, and then do your homework. Play outside in the evening — running, cycling, or games with friends. Eat dinner with your family, help clear the table, and then read a book or talk with your family instead of watching screens. Brush your teeth, and go to bed early, at the same time every night. Sleeping and waking at the same time every day helps your body and brain work well.
Example: Write your own timetable — 6:30 wake up, 7:00 breakfast, 8:00 school, 4:00 homework, 5:00 play, 7:00 dinner, 8:30 bed. Stick it on your wall and follow it for a week.
